In the event of a catastrophic failure of Kinion Lake Dam, the areas in blue shown above would be quickly flooded.  Anyone living south of Kinion Lake Road (between the dam and the Muddy Fork River bridge to the east), should consider signing up with the Washington County Department of Emergency Management to receive special "Code Red" notifications concerning Kinion Lake.
